Akorn Working with Industry

industry-logo

Akorn works closely with Industry ….for without Industry and other Community Partners there would be no ‘Students @ Work’ Programs

There are different models in which Akorn can work with Industry Partners:

  • In programs where Akorn facilitates the programs and places students within a workplace environment for a specific period of time.
  • In programs where an industry partner facilitates programs under a licensee agreement. As an example, Transfield employees were trained to coordinate and facilitate Students @ Work Programs with their contract community partners.

We challenge students to create strong, robust and holistic solutions to the challenges and needs that they identify.
